B Praak is known by his screen name, but his real name is Prateek Bachan. He was born in Chandigarh. His father Varinder Bachan is a popular Punjabi music director.
He did his studies from Chandigarh’s St. Xavier school. His interest in music was from a very young age. He had learned music direction from his father and before coming in this field, he practised for around ten years.
In addition to his parents in his family, he also has a younger sister, Suhani Bachan. He is more close to his mother. He got married in April 2019. His wife’s name is Meera.
He started his career with music direction and composition in 2008. He got huge success with Hardy Sandhu‘s song ‘Soch’ launched in 2013. He also received the PTC Best Music Director Award for this song. After that, many songs of his direction came which became a super hit. In the year 2018, he also showed his singing talent to his fans from the song ‘Mann Bharrya’. This song was liked by the audience and his voice was well appreciated. Then in 2019, his singing debut was also made in the Bollywood industry. In the Akshay Kumar starer film Kesari released in 2019, he sang ‘Teri Mitti’ song.
